About

A sanctuary designed for connection.

Sky Mountain Retreat began with a love for the mountains and sky—the quiet, the sun rising over the rolling mountains and moon and stars dancing across the night sky. What started as a vision to create a place for true rest and reconnection for our family is growing into a collection of luxury stays to share with you.

Our Values

Questions

Excellence

Thoughtful in every detail, delivered with intention.

Connection

Meaningful moments with each other and nature.

Space to slow down, breathe deeply, and recharge.

Our story

From a weekend escape to home.

Jackie Clark, Host/Owner of Sky Mountain Retreat

Sky Mountain Retreat began with a simple weekend escape to Berkeley Springs – and quickly became a place that felt like home. Drawn to the peaceful mountains, small-town charm, and slower pace of life, we fell in love with creating spaces where others could experience that same feeling.

What started with one cabin has grown into a collection of thoughtfully designed getaways created for rest, connection, and meaningful moments. From quiet mornings with coffee, to evenings under the stars, every detail is intended to help you slow down and reconnect with what matters most.

Whether you're here for a romantic get away, a wellness escape, or time with loved ones, we hope your stay leaves you feeling refreshed, inspired, and renewed.

Take a breath — you’ve arrived.

With gratitude,

Jackie Clark
Host/Owner, Sky Mountain Retreat

Co-Hosts

Bill & Kara.

A husband-and-wife team, Bill and Kara are the co-hosts of Sky Mountain Retreat. For most guests they are the first voices heard — guiding the booking process, then following up after you’ve gone home to hear how the stay unfolded.

Trenton looks after the facilities and maintenance of the resort. If anything goes wrong, he fixes it — quietly and quickly, so nothing gets between you and a good rest.

Special thanks

Many Hands, One Retreat

Behind every calm arrival and spotless stay is a wider circle of people we’re grateful for. Our cleaning team turns over each stay with a care you can feel the moment you walk in, and the contractors and tradespeople who build, repair, and tend the property keep the retreat running smoothly as it grows.

Their work is felt in every corner of Sky Mountain Retreat. Thank you.
